UPDATE on a New Guidelines Issued on Medical CBD & THC for Chronic Pain

I was able to reach Dr. Dustin Sulak, world expert on clinical use of medical cannabis, founder of healer.com and co-writer of these new recommendation. Dr. Sulak provided number of critical clarifications.
1) The committee did not suggest use of just CBD but rather CBD predominant strains that contain as little as 0.5mg of THC/dose. This is in very high agreement with what I see in my practice.
2) These recommendations were not meant to be guidelines but rather clinical guidance.
I sure hope that Medpage corrects their misinterpretations.

Meantime I’m happy to report that Dr. Sulak agreed to join me for upcoming GW Office of Integrative Medicine Podcast to give us more details about this new clinicians recommendations.
